Martina Sykes and Jarran Muse, stars of “Motown: The Musical,” will perform May 13 in South Kohala.
The 15th annual Hoku Concert Series event, “Motown: Greatest Hits,” is a benefit for Family Services Hawaii, Hawaii Island Humane Society, Hilo Medical Center, North Hawaii Community Hospital and Kona Hospital Foundation. It will be held in the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel Ballroom.
Sykes and Muse are two Broadway stars from the hit “Motown: The Musical.” Muse is currently playing the role of Marvin Gaye, and Sykes, the role of Mary Wells. They will be singing the great hits of the famous Motown sound.
Tickets are $60 for general admission and $85 for preferred seating. They can be purchased at the door or from Family Services Hawaii, Hawaii Island Humane Society, Hilo Medical Center, North Hawaii Community Hospital and Kona Hospital Foundation.
